So, I'm on day four of my 5 day detox. This has been a definite learning experience for me. I'm learning more about nutrition than I have ever learned before. I read two more chapters in the book last night, and one was mainly all the different recipes that I'll be able to have for the next 25 days. Let me just say, they look absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I'm so excited to try them out. I still have no idea what I'm going to do during National Conference. I guess I'll just eat in moderation and make smart choices when dinner and lunch different places.
Lost more weight from yesterday. :) I must say I have never lost weight this fast before in my life; however, I know that once I'm off the detox system that the weight will come off more slowly, and I'm okay with that. I really feel like this book is going to help completely change the way I eat, and hopefully Charis and Matt will follow. Although, I don't think anyone will ever get chips out of Matt's diet.
I cannot wait until Tuesday when I get to try some of these new recipes, and reveal how much weight I lost during my five days.
I thought we determined that the Cape Cod chips were all natural..
ReplyDeleteI'm going to get as bad as my mom about hiding food--but only with bags of chips. I won't hide enough food to stock a small convenience store like she does.
ReplyDeleteI might have to try this! I'm an all around healthy eater, but lately have been super lazy in my meals. I have celiac disease, so that really narrows things down for me. But my weaknesses are candy and tortilla chips. I'd rather just go home and cook nachos for dinner every night because it's super fast, cheap, easy and I can eat it! But I know my diet must change. Thanks for the posts, Michelle. They help a lot! :)
